North Star Congregation

The Glenwood Lead Team recently elected to participate in a conference initiative called “North Star Congregations.” The purpose is to welcome anyone whose United Methodist Church either has disaffiliated from the denomination or has closed. We are committing to being a fellowship that will care for people who are experiencing a season of grief and uncertainty as they transition from one faith community to another. We may become the next fellowship for some and only a waystation for others as they search for the next church they want to associate with. If they choose not to stay with us, we can help them find another north star congregation to check out.
