GLENWOOD UMC MINISTRY PARTNERSHIPS:
HOGE PANTRY: The Hoge Pantry needs the following items: Canned Tuna and Chicken, Chicken noodle soup and Peanut butter. Monetary donations are always welcomed. They use that money to purchase items from Mid-Ohio Food Collective. WESTSIDE FREE STORE: The Westside Free store needs the following items: Full size Shampoo, bar soap, disposable razors, and Deodorant. They are also need Men’s clothing and winter coats for all. HILLIARD FOOD PANTRY: The Hilliard Food Pantry needs the following items: full size shampoo, bar soap, disposable razors, deodorant, and canned food. Monetary donations are used to buy fresh items from Mid-Ohio Food Connections. The Hilliard Food Pantry is accepting food donations at Norwich/Hilliard fire stations. Glenwood UMC 130th Anniversary: We are approaching a MILESTONE EVENT! Glenwood United Methodist Church will be reaching its 130th Anniversary in November. Watch for further details.
YMCA: The YMCA would like to know of any seniors who might need some help with yard work this fall season. If anyone needs assistance or knows of someone who needs some assistance with their yard work, please contact the church office at (614) 274-8469.
WORLD COMMUNION SUNDAY SERVICE: Sunday, October 1, 2023, is World Communion Sunday. Glenwood UMC will join the combined service and combined choir at Parkview UMC. There will be Choir rehearsal before worship service that morning. Worship Service will begin at 10:15 A.M. Following the service there will be a potluck dinner served in the Fellowship Hall. Parkview UMC will furnish the main course. Visiting Churches should bring a salad or a side dish and an activity if you have one. Parkview UMC is located at 344 S Algonquin Ave, Columbus, OH 43204
